Orientation Program

Students, alumni, schools and corporate partners all point to our annual Orientation Program & Career Forum (affectionately called “The OP”) as one of the most powerful, impactful aspects of The Consortium experience. It’s an intense, hands-on opportunity for students to get real career development advice from the best educational institutions and corporations in the country. Corporate partners tell us the students at the OP are the best of the best, providing an unparalleled diversity recruiting opportunity.

Fall Town Hall & Career Forum

The Fall Town Hall & Career Forum is an opportunity for corporate partners to have a meaningful touchpoint with current students, as well as alumni fellows. The Town Hall covers one major topic for discussion (i.e., mental health, ERGs) and the remainder of the time provides partner interaction with the fellows in their respective booths.

Regional Engagement Events

The Consortium hosts events in July and August that include summer interns, recent graduates, and alumni in various cities as a networking opportunity for our constituents. Student and alumni fellows share their personal career journeys as well as information and insights about their current careers and future employment goals. Corporate partners at various levels are invited to attend and sponsor these events, and invite company representatives from ERGs to attend.

To learn more about these events, please contact the Student and Alumni Relations team at alumni@cgsm.org.
