Johnson Women in Business (JWIB) is our female student hosting event on the Cornell campus. Women who are selected to attend will receive an application fee waiver to apply to Johnson.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience student life at Johnson. Selected women will be hosted during their visit by current students, but will be responsible for all other travel expenses to Ithaca.

Cornell University to host annual LGBTQ Preview Day
October 30, 2014
Current students and alumni will share their personal experiences as a lesbian, gay, bi-sexual or transgender student in pursuit of their Cornell MBA and career advancement. A panel discussion format will be followed by questions and answers.
This discussion is designed for prospective students and will help answer the following:
- What is the recruiting process really like?
- Should I identify myself as LGBTQ?
- What should I do if I haven’t “come out” yet?
- Is Johnson LGBTQ friendly? What should I expect?
The all-day event includes breakfast and lunch, time to meet one-on-one with Johnson LGBTQ students and alumni, and opportunities to attend two of the following classes:
- Finance
- Statistics
- Strategy
Approximately 30 are expected to attend this event. Space is limited.
