Jolawn Victor Starts Campaign to Help Mothers

Jolawn Victor (NYU ’09) has created a new campaign to promote breastfeeding. As a working mother of three children, she experienced challenges meeting her breastfeeding goals. Her vision is to help all women start and continue breastfeeding, and launched Au Baby to do so.

Au Baby is a non-profit whose purpose is to inspire, educate and raise  awareness and funds for breastfeeding. Each year in August (National Breastfeeding Awareness Month), women will paint their eyelids with bright gold eye shadow and seek sponsorship from friends and family for wearing the shadow for 31 days. The funds raised will be donated to existing breastfeeding support and advocacy groups.
