Did you know it takes 1,071 days to plan The Consortium’s annual Orientation Program & Career Forum? That means while we’re working on one OP, we’re already well into planning the next one. Why do we mention it? Keep reading.
Our 2016 OP is, of course, a big one: It’s our 50th, and we’re working on big plans to commemorate the Golden Anniversary of our organization.
Today, we’re debuting our logo for the 50th OP (see above), featuring our theme for the conference, “Building on the Best.” The theme speaks to our drive to help our top-notch students create their own opportunities at our top-tier member schools, alongside our corporate partners.
It also speaks to our ambition as an organization to continuously improve. We hoped to capture some of that, along with our excitement at this milestone, with the 50th anniversary logo.
Now, remember when we were talking about that 1,071-day planning cycle? We also thought you might like to know this: We’ve nailed down the site for the 2017 Orientation Program, too: Drumroll, please: It’s Atlanta, where we’ll gather at the Westin Peachtree Plaza!
Here’s a promotional video from the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau to give you a glimpse at where we’re headed.
